Mission Statement
We are an organization of library lovers who promote the welfare and growth of the library.
What Friends Do?
Inform about Library resources and services.
Raise funds for our branch library with:
A spring and fall book sale.
White Elephant Sale.
Offerings of hand made crafts and gift items.
Sales benefit Friends programs and enhance services beyond normal operating budget.
Sponsor programs
Adult and Juvenile Summer Reading Programs.
Scholarship Award Program.
Administer Campbell's Labels for Education Program.
Upcoming Events
"Scott County Cooks" Cookbooks are now on sale at any Scott County Library System branch. Get the best recipes from local home cooks for $10. Proceeds benefit the Bookmobile Fund.

We sell good used magazines and books at the Friends Area just inside the front door on the right. Check us out!
Next Meeting
The next meeting of the friends of the Eldridge Library will be Monday, March 22nd at 1:30pm in the First Amendment Room of the Eldridge Library. We'd love to have you join us.
